Bcause I said so  began as a joint venture between two sisters, Denise Goodman and Lauren Dewey Tarr.  We cultivated and nutured the business the way we did our children, but as children grow and move on so did Lauren to a new home and new adventures.  You will still hear from her from time to time in our new blog.  

Denise Goodman has stayed on and added Patricia Bartels. Best friends for 30+ years Denise Dewey Goodman and Patricia Norris Bartels – who between them have six children and dozens of nieces, nephews and young cousins, will continue to grow the business with the same wit and love that Denise and Lauren started.

Bcause I Said So is dedicated to celebrating the milestones, achievements and even mishaps of children and their parents – with an initial focus on babies.

Our  product lines of novelty t-shirts, target the major milestones and most common baby hazards or warnings, respectively, as well as your child’s personalities.  Embrace them all and shout your baby’s achievements and mishaps from the rooftops – or at least wear them on your shirt.  Our goal is to nurture and grow with your babies, develop additional infant lines, and introduce both toddler/youth and maternity lines in the near future.  These are our babies, too, so check back regularly to see when new products are born.

All t-shirts are made from high-quality, 100% washable cotton, made in the U.S.A.  they wear well and look adorable on both boys and girls, if we say so ourselves!
